Complete Tanach with Commentary in Spanish for Descendants of Anusim
Venice, 1730
A complete Tanach, with vowels and te’amim (cantillation marks), meticulously edited by Rabbi Shlomo Altaras.

In the margins are short commentaries in Spanish for the benefit of the descendants of the Anusim (Marranos) and the Spanish communities in Italy.

Four separate title pages with an impressive architectural framework. Inside the upper part of the frame are illustrations of a two-headed eagle with crowns, a rooster, a moon and stars.

A thick, large, and impressive volume!
