The Chozeh of Lublin himself recorded these chiddushei Torah with tremendous holiness and sacred intent, beginning his sefer with a lengthy Kabbalistic leshem yichud prayer, replete with lofty and holy intentions.
The sefarim of the Chozeh of Lublin are considered chassidic classics.
The Chiddushei Harim wrote regarding his work: “I do not peruse chassidic sefarim because the authors wrote their sefarim for their generation (only), but the sefarim of the Chozeh of Lublin were compiled for all of the generations and they hold power like the words of Chazal.” (Meir Einei HaGoloh, p. 15).
